"My husband and I came to North Carolina in 1991 and purchased land. In 1994 we decided to build a small house to vacation in. Coming from out of state, and not knowing contractors, we were concerned as to who to get. Some of our new friends recommended Joe Cockerham & Son so we called him and met to explain what we wanted.
Joe built our little house on a handshake, and not one bad word crossed between us. We were so pleased we told him he would build the home we are in now, and he did. He built a quality home we are very proud of and love!

We were skeptical about finding a good, honest contractor to build the addition to our home. After talking with Joe and Bryan Cockerham and hearing what they had to say we felt much better. Here were two people with knowledge and experience, plus a willingness to work with us to get the results we wanted.
Joe and Bryan gave us an estimate on the job and it ended up being exactly what they said it would be. We did add a few things to the project, but that was very reasonably priced and the job was done to perfection. You won't have corners cut if you hire this company.
Never have we had a construction crew work like they did. They showed up everyday on time. They worked from start to finish everyday.
The final result is an addition that doesn't look like an addition. It looks like part of the original house. The quality is better than the original house.
We would suggest Joe and Bryan Cockerham to anyone who has a desire for a competent contractor and quality results.
